Most Blacks did not want to see Trump’s face at the opening of the museum let alone hear his empty rhetoric. He even had the nerve to mention Dr. King Jr.’s name after his father was a member of the KKK and he use to deny renting property to more than qualified Black applicants. His speech could not even include any encouraging comments about the erosion of systemic racism on Trump’s part or how he would support with great vigor the Voting Rights Act and remove voter suppression attempts by Republicans. Trump could not even speak of any accomplishments he has seriously engaged in regarding equality in his lifetime for any non-white race.
He was there for a voter opportunity and it was despicable.
